This is a real special post on the blog today. On August 3rd, my friends Jaymee & Sean were married at Sean’s grandparents property overlooking the lake in Lac La Hache. I don’t think there was a dry eye around (I was pretty thankful for all the tissue I brought along for the ceremony). Every word they spoke to each other was so heartfelt. I had been looking forward to this day for a long time. Seeing these two so happy together makes me so happy. They are some of the sweetest people I know and I am so happy that they joined the married club 😉 I cannot wait to watch them grow together in their marriage and see what great things the future brings to them. I had the very special privilege of being Jaymee’s matron of honour on this wonderful day. It meant so much to be standing by her side as she married the love of her life. I have to say that on this day Jaymee looked so stunning on this day and I loved seeing her whole bridal look come together. Sean you looked pretty handsome too! They had such a fun group of family and friends that totally made this wedding. It ended up raining a lot that day but luckily that did not stop the fun.
After hearing about all of the wedding ideas/details for many many months, it was so amazing to see it all come together. There were so many very special little handmade details that made this wedding what it was. I’ve posted shots of some of those details below. Jaymee perhaps you should become a wedding planner/decorator? You did an amazing job! Everything turned out so beautifully!
We all stayed at the Hills Health Ranch in 108 Mile House. Myself and the 2 other bridesmaids Alana and Bobi were dressed in beautiful shades of purple the day of the wedding. The groomsmen were dressed in Khaki & lavender. I totally broke the photog rules and brought my camera along for some snaps. There were obviously some things I didn’t capture such as the ceremony… Their day was just so precious I couldn’t help but shoot some photos along the way. Some of the photos you will see in the post below were not taken by me… Such as the ones I am in 😉 (I’m wearing the plum coloured dress).
Jaymee & Sean got engaged in Cabo San Lucas Mexico back in December 2011. Jaymee & Sean first started dating back in Taiwan several years ago, however they’ve known each other for a long time. Growing up Sean was good friends with Jaymee’s older brother Josh and Jaymee was known as the little sister. Thankfully Sean realized what an amazing woman he had in front of him all this time.
These two just arrived home from their honeymoon time in Bali & Taiwan. They are officially back and beginning their married life together along with their pup Jovi. I can’t wait to spend some “married couple” time together with you guys!
I’m so happy for both of you 🙂 Love you lots xo
