Whoa June Already?

It’s June! Wow… The time is just flying by. I haven’t written a blog in over a well over a week and it’s making me a bit antsy.

For the past week I have been catching up on the business side of my photography. Many hours and hours spent at the computer working on other things besides blogging. I have a new promotion coming out soon, as well as some new printed material for you all to see. I’ve also been focusing on getting a lot of family photo sessions done (I think almost 20 in a 2 week period!). I’m trying to get myself all caught up before my wedding season is in full force! July and August are going to be crazy busy (in a super fun way) and I am looking forward to it all. I have several weddings around the lower mainland. I am also looking forward to traveling for a number of destination weddings around British Columbia. I cannot wait to share the beautiful weddings of so many special couples! Each one is so unique and special 🙂

On Saturday I had the privilege of second shooting for Vasia Weddings. Vasia is seriously an amazing photographer and it was so nice to work with her. It was my first time shooting a wedding at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia in downtown Vancouver. A simply stunning place for anyone looking for a hotel venue for their wedding. There were beautiful flowers everywhere and hundred of candles were lit. This wedding truly looked like something out of a fairy tale. We were there for just over 12 hours to document all of the special details that day. To some of Vasia’s beautiful work you can check out her website here: http://www.vasia-weddings.com/

I will be taking a trip to the interior in mid June and I will be stopping in Quesnel and Prince George. If you would like to book a couples or engagement shoot during that time please feel free to email me at: kim@kim-james.com and I would be happy to set something up when I’m in town.

I hope you all have a wonderful week!

One of my favourite things about this time of year is all the fresh fruit veggies available. I love fruit salad!PIN
