Happy Tuesday! I hope you all enjoyed the nice long weekend! I know I did. We had the best March weather I think I’ve ever seen here in the lower mainland! I spent both Saturday and Sunday outside shooting outdoors and I couldn’t have been happier. I wore sunscreen on my face and I still managed to get a mild sunburn on my forehead. I’m not even upset about it! On Saturday I had a planned Engagement Session with my good friends Jaymee & Sean. I told them I didn’t have an exact spot in mind and that I wanted to drive around and find cherry blossom trees wherever we could. Spring is honestly one of my favourite times of the year to take photos. When you combine natures beauty with two beautiful people you get some serious gorgeousness happening in that camera. Most of these shots were taken in different spots around New West & Burnaby. Side of the road… Beside peoples yards… In apartment complex grounds. That is one of the main reasons why most of these are up close shots and shots towards the sky. I didn’t want to get ugly buildings in the photos.
Jaymee & Sean were engaged in Mexico at the end of 2011. We took some engagement photos together about a year ago but I thought it was time for some updated pictures. They are getting married this August in Lac La Hache. I’m going to stand beside these two as they say their vows and help them celebrate their special day. So don’t forget to check back and see a few snapshots from their big day.
If you are interested in capturing your love under the cherry blossom trees this April please email me email@example.com and we can set up a session.
